Online Diagnostic in the Cable Outlet Area
The SIPLUG® 4 version "CO" is designed for an installation in the cable outlet area. The available space in the cable outlet area is often limited. Therefore it was particularly emphasized to develop the SIPLUG® 4 CO with small sizes and light mounting weight.
SIPLUG® 4 CO is modularly constructed and consists of two parts: a compact sensor-module and a put-on controller-module on top.
The sensor module replaces the existing output terminals. The terminals and the current path running through the sensor module are qualified to the according requirements. The sensor module is permanently installed, while the plugged-on controller module on top can be easily replaced anytime, for example for recalibration of the data acquisition. There are different possibilities for the mechanical mounting, for example the G-rail, the top-hat rail or brackets for universal fixture.
An external 24V DC power supply is necessary for the voltage supply of the SIPLUG® 4. The power supplies can be selected to feed up to 30 SIPLUG®s.
Both the sensor module and the controller module each have a worldwide unique fixed programmed serial number, in order to ensure the traceability of the data at any time. Moreover an EEPROM storage is included in both modules, that resides the current transformer range and the calibration data. The identification of the valve to which the SIPLUG® is connected can additionally be saved in the sensor module. Due to the individual handling of calibration data the sensor modules and the controllers are arbitrarily combinable. It is also no longer necessary to administrate the external calibration data on a computer system.
