Important components of a nuclear power plant like pressurizer safety valves or the main steam isolation valves are controlled by solenoid operated valves (SOV). In order to ensure reliable operation of these important components functional tests have to be performed periodically. For this task AREVA NP has developed a mobile diagnosis system for SOVs.

The SIPLUG^® SOV Mobile can be used for flexible SOV diagnosis in the plant or workshop.

Continuous monitoring of solenoid operated valves is also possible as an Online System.
